If we don’t fund access to top-tier AI models for students who can’t afford them, we select for privilege instead of talent
Fundamentals Labs helps students learn how to read and navigate SEC filings in an academic setting. Assistive AI is available for financial literacy, analysis, and context.
What students learn
Students practice reading primary disclosures: identifying risks, tracking material changes, interpreting governance language, and learning the structure and conventions of SEC filings. The goal is durable comprehension of how public information is communicated in markets.
The program reduces friction for first-time readers by pairing real filings with guided navigation and optional explanations. It is designed for academic neutrality and does not steer learners toward investment decisions.
What Fundamentals Labs provides
- Classroom-ready access to SEC filings for instructional use.
- Document navigation tools that clarify structure and sections.
- Optional assistive AI for terminology, context, and reading support.
- Cohort setup and operational support for faculty partners.
We welcome discussions with universities, fiscal sponsors, foundations, and corporate philanthropies. Early conversations help align cohort scope and reporting expectations.
